The new ARC 3 is designed for audio correction at home.

ARC 3 is the new tool designed for audio correction in productions where budgets are usually tighter. Unlike video, where there are multiple possibilities and tools to work with, the same is not always true for audio. It is true that both video and audio require specific equipment, which not all budgets can afford. Audio post-production in a studio is not always within the reach of all productions and the results working with the tools available at home do not always have the expected results.

That is why IK Multimedia has developed ARC System 3 that allows to improve the monitoring whatever the room is. For this purpose, it has the ultra-precision of a measurement microphone that together with the analysis software that uses a correction plugin allows the signal to come out where and how you want in all projections.

The new version of ARC has improved processing and analysis to offer a faster and more reliable solution thanks to its new correction algorithm. It can virtually simulate what it would be like to monitor sound in common hearing devices. Work has also been done on the interface design to make it a simpler, step-by-step guided process so that it can be easily but accurately configured.

If you don’t have the possibility of room mastering, it is important to make sure that what you are hearing is correct without having to do an acoustic treatment of the room. It is now also compatible with different measurement microphones so you can measure the sound and use the results to generate a correction profile. This profile is then dumped to ARC for your DAW.

The ARC 3 tool is now available and costs €99.99.
