BulletProof beta 2 is now available, the latest system released by Red Giant that allows us to manage and prepare files from camera output to post production.
Made after feedback with users, this update brings some important features that improve the software. One of the issues the company has focused on is all the metadata work. It is now possible to make exports that include color settings, in and out points, and even an option to trim the original clip or leave it intact as non-destructive metadata – all via XML or XMP files for Final Cut Pro 7 and X and Premiere Pro systems. You can also save these settings and keywords as presets, which can then be used in conjunction with playlists or applied directly on import.
In addition, when working with color corrections we will have the ability to use a new saturation regulator, more precise controls and export the final values as LUTs.
Tooltips, keyboard shortcuts, preferences, context menus and thumbnail badges have been added to the user interface, as well as support for Undo/Redo and Copy/Paste functions, which are extremely important and necessary for any user.
As for verification, the Checksum information is now displayed in the metadata options, allowing direct access to import, backup and export from here.
BulletProof has been optimized to work with MacBook Air, or any computer using Intel HD 4000 graphics cards. It also ensures a very good integration with PluralEyes, Red Giant’s synchronization tool. With this update you can use a new option that allows you to mark and send imported clips in a bins configuration that PluralEyes is able to read.
