The Ymagis company – in conjunction with the ICTA (International Cinema Technology Association) Seminar Series – launches a new Professional License Program for EclairColor HDR. They ensure its functionality especially for independent film labs and projection system integrators. It is presented as a solution for high dynamic range, richer colors, higher brightness and definition, and greater depth of field.
For Jean Mizrahi, co-founder and CEO of Ymagis Group, it is a commitment to help creatives ensure that the films seen by moviegoers are as the artists originally intended. It looks for consistency between post-production and its subsequent screening, how it was intended by the directors and cinematographers.
We currently have more than 120 cinema screens equipped with EclairColor. EclairColor HDR works with advanced projection systems from Sony Digital Cinema 4K and Barco. It is an affordable technology for all cinemas, according to the company. Agreements are already in place with post-production houses such as Filmmore (Netherlands) and Dame Blanche (Belgium) in addition to discussions with companies in the UK, France and the US.
Finally, we would like to remind you that the dates are getting closer for the in-person course on codecs, formats and HD and 4k workflows. Don’t forget to reserve your place.
