Once again, visual effects tools developer Noise Industries has added a new plugin called Tokyo PiPinator to its list of products for FxFactory.
PiPinator allows you to generate animated compositions with the “Picture-in-Picture” effect in a very simple way, through its menus and without worrying about keyframes.
It is designed exclusively for Final Cut Pro X, where (once installed) it can be found in its effects library. It includes 5 modules that offer different templates from which editors can choose animations.
These templates can be used either with a single image or for more elaborate compositions using several layers. In addition, any aspect is fully customizable through the parameters of scaling, motion path, rotations, cropping, borders, shadows, etc.
Here is a tutorial explaining how PiPinator works. In this video you can see that it is really easy to set the input and output position without using keyframes due to some indicator arrows. It also shows how to modify the rest of the parameters through each of the available menus to create different animations.
The Tokyo PiPinator plugin is now available for $49. You can purchase it from the FxFactory store or download here the latest version (4.0.1) which includes the free trial.
