New website: CONTRALUZ ROOM

Today we are celebrating because one year ago we had the pleasure to officially present SALA CONTRALUZ, our digital color correction room. A 50 m2 boutique in the center of Madrid dedicated especially to the art and science of audiovisual color from pre-production to final mastering.

We have two complete workstations with DaVinci Resolve and grade 1 monitor, P3 digital cinema projection on a 4-meter screen, 4K, HDR with PQ (2084) and HLG viewing systems, Lightspace calibration, ACES color management, etc. to achieve the technically and artistically perfect color process in the productions we receive.

Luis Ochoa and Elena Humanes are in charge of bringing this project to life. For the last year they have been working together on a multitude of projects from feature films, TV series, documentaries, advertising, to short films and small pieces that you can see on our website.

One of our latest productions has been “La Sala” a series for HBO, shot in 8K anamorphic, whose director of photography is Juan Luis Cabellos and directed by Manuel Sanabria.

In Contraluz we use different workflows depending on the characteristics, times and budgets of the productions. So come visit us and tell us about your project. We will adapt to different situations, especially in independent works and short films.
