As you already know, black and white styles can vary a lot, since it is not just a matter of lowering the total saturation of the image. A few months ago we showed you the LUT “Night B&W”, which was a black and white with a slight magenta shift; and today you will find this LUT “B&W Contrast”, so that you can create your black and white scenes with a high level of contrast.
This LUT has been created on a Rec. 709 image, so if you want to apply it on logarithmic material you will have to put before a layer/node with an initial contrast adjustment (do not overdo it because the LUT already adds enough).
I remind you that to download it you only have to be part of the group “LUTs Exchange” in Red 709 (click here to access directly) and I encourage you to upload your own LUTs.
