The HDR system in video is part of the new BT2020 standard and is here to stay in audiovisual. Within a few years, all broadcasting and projection systems will work in HDR, and SDR will be a thing of the past, like the PAL or NTSC standards. Learning to work with it is a must for all of us involved in image creation: colorists, post-producers, VFX artists, graphic designers, post-production coordinators, cinematographers, art directors, makeup artists, directors, and filmmakers, etc.

In this course, we will learn all the components that make up the HDR ecosystem. The course will help you understand how to manipulate images before and after shooting: transmission curves, monitors, color spaces, standards, trends, and everything necessary to handle HDR from a thorough understanding of the format. From here, only viewing on HDR monitors remains.
