Color work is useless if it’s not exported properly. There are many deliveries that need to be made from the professional color department: to VFX departments, sometimes to editing for them to continue their work, and of course the final masters that will be seen on platforms, television, or in cinemas.
In our DaVinci Resolve IMF DCP Exports Online Course, you will learn the export configuration for different workflows. You will see how to optimally perform exports for other departments such as Editing or VFX, as well as mastering for final delivery in cinema DCP, IMF platforms, television, or web.
DaVinci Resolve is rightfully the most used color correction program in any type of production, to the point that it has become the standard for digital production and post-production professionals. From a small short film graded on your laptop to a Hollywood movie on a 4K workstation, DaVinci Resolve is, without a doubt, the ideal tool for color correction at any level.
But DaVinci Resolve is no longer just for color; since its acquisition by Blackmagic Design, it hasn’t stopped growing. Currently, it’s a tool to carry out almost all post-production: editing, VFX, sound, LAB, DIT are some of the functions and disciplines that can be performed with the program. And now it can also be done collaboratively and remotely.
Colorists, editors in Avid, FCP and Premiere, cinematographers, digital image technicians, producers, filmmakers, and anyone who wants to acquire the necessary knowledge to perform material exports, whether for final mastering or intermediate processes.
To take the course, it is necessary to have basic knowledge of post-production and color. The course does not cover color correction theory or its processes, nor the basic handling of DaVinci Resolve. It is a course specifically focused on exporting, exemplifying different types of processes and productions.

All the courses use programs that have free and/or trial versions. In the course description you will find links to download the necessary programs.
