Boris Continuum Complete 8 for Avid DS

Boris FX announced today that Boris Continuum Complete 8 AVX (BCC 8 AVX) is now available for Avid DS.

This collection of visual effects includes 200 filters such as “blurs”, “glows”, “flares” and “lights”, as well as others that allow you to create cinematic looks.

Version 8 added a vectorscope; a new 3D text generator with textures, reliefs and reflections (each effect can be modified and animated with presets such as Bend, Taper, Twist, Shatter, Ripple, Pulse or Curl); the “Lens Flare 3D” effect, which allows you to create cinematic looks; and Beat Reactor technology for generating effects that are based on audio.

Support for 32-Bit Float rendering was also included.

BCC 8 AVX is now available for Avid DS (v10.5 or higher), Media Composer and Symphony (from version 5.5) and NewsCutter (from v9.5).

For a limited time it will be priced at $1,595 ($495 for upgrades), although its regular price will be $1,995 ($599 to upgrade).
