Shortly before the arrival of NAB 2013 and before we learn what’s new regarding the Avid Media Composer family (which includes Media Composer, Symphony and NewsCutter), Avid is offering a free trial of Symphony 6.5.
Previously it was possible to download the trial version of Media Composer, but it was not possible to enjoy the advanced color correction and mastering tools (the latter will require a Nitris DX) that Symphony incorporates.
Included in this trial are trial versions of the ScriptSync and PhaseFind options (both from Nexidia), which will speed up your editing workflow. In addition, if you are a Boris Continuum Complete user you will also be able to create visual effects within Symphony (BCC is not included as part of the trial).
