Autodesk has organized an event called “Unfold 2014” where the latest versions of 3D animation software will be unveiled.
Although nothing has been specified, it is quite likely that this will mean the release of Maya 2014, 3ds Max 2014, Softimage 2014, Mudbox 2014 and MotionBuilder 2014. Already last year around the same time they announced the 2013 versions and the “Ultimate” suite that included them.
The event will take place on March 26 and 27 and can be enjoyed in person or watched live.
During these two days it will be possible to take a look at the latest versions and chat with product experts through the “AREA” area (on the Autodesk website).
The in-person celebration will be held on Wednesday the 27th at the Montreal office (5:00-7:00pm EST) and will feature demonstrations of workflows with these applications thanks to their new features, a panel discussion on the state of the 3D industry and presentations of customer projects.
On this page you have all the information about Unfold 2014, how to register or have them send you a reminder to watch it online. Also, they have uploaded some videos previewing new features of 3ds Max, Softimage and Maya. Here they are:
