SGO Mistika workshop in Segovia

Last Sunday, as part of the annual 3D Wire international days, a stereoscopic 3D workshop on the SGO Mistika platform was held at the CAT in Segovia by Sergio Ochoa.

During the 3 hours workshop Sergio started explaining the technical basics of S3D in shooting and post-production to later show some of the Mistika tools on stereoscopic material. Changing the convergence point of the image, plane analysis to develop a 3D map of the plane and thus be able to work the convergence of the different depths separately, automatic “matcheo” of color of one eye with respect to the other and multiconforming technology based on edl (xml or aaf) that allows to work in parallel offline and online editing were some of the features demonstrated in the workshop.

After this Sergio showed examples of productions made with Mistika for film, television and advertising to finish talking about the position of this software in the international market, being greater its presence in places like Lodres, China, Korea or New Zealand than in Spain (place of birth and development of the program).
