Cristina García Rodero has confirmed her participation in the seventh edition of Fotogenio, the largest meeting of photographers held in Spain.
Together with Gervasio Sánchez and Chema Madoz, he will form the trio of aces of this event to be held between May 31 and June 2 in Mazarrón (Murcia).

- Recently elected Academician of Fine Arts.
- He joined Magnum in 2005, and became a full member in 2009.
- His work is in permanent collections in places such as the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston, or the Eugene Smith Foundation at the International Center of Photography in New York.
- His awards include the Eugene Smith Humanist Photography Award of NY in 1989, the National Photography Award of the Ministry of Culture of Spain in 1996, among others.
- His work expresses his great interest in human beings, their behavior, customs and contradictions, always contextualized in the transformation of their economic, political and social environment.
The photographer will give her lecture on Friday afternoon, May 31. The entrance for this day, in the afternoon, will be totally free and free of charge (until full capacity is reached).
