Happy 2014!
I’m going to start the year by telling you about FxFactory Proa software for Mac OS X that has more than 170 filters, generators and transitions that will help us to complete our audiovisual pieces.
Although we have already informed you about the free FxFactory in the past, FxFactory Pro version 4 has many more possibilities to increase the capacity of a material thanks to color effects, blurs, glow, keying, etc.
Not all included effects are supported in all available applications. However, the purchase of each plug-in allows it to be used in all supported systems, which can be Motion, After Effects, Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro (more and more for FCP X and less for FCP 7).
One of the outstanding plugins for Final Cut Pro X is Callouts, by Ripple Training. It allows the integration of arrows, magnifying glasses, animated maps and even speech bubbles with text inside our videos.
Another one of the most recognized is Yanobox Nodes, an animation tool that loads multiple images and moves them around the screen through floating circles and arrows.
There is a wide variety of presets for each effect, but you can always customize and save any of the styles you have created to apply it later as a custom plugin.
In FxFactory Pro the whole process is very simple, from the purchase to the application of the effects, through the installation and renewal of licenses.
If you want to download the trial version or buy it for $399, you can do it through this link. In the same link you will find a lot of videos about the included effects like Spot Light, Doorway Transition or Slideshows.
