The short film “How to start a film about Javier Aguirre“is one of the short films shortlisted for the Goya awards. It has been directed by Antonio Peláez Barceló, esteemed colleague and former student of some of our courses.
With this piece he wants to make the work of Javier Aguirre, an interesting director who has a large number of varied works since the beginning of his career in the 60s, a little better known.
The short film is presented in the documentary category, along with 10 others, and will be screened shortly at the Academy’s headquarters. In order to submit it, Antonio had to create a DCP and he has recognized that he was able to do it thanks to the course he took with us on this subject(here you have more information about it).
From 709 Media Room we would like to congratulate Antonio Pelaez and wish him the best of luck for January 7th, when the four final nominees will be decided.
