Red Giant has just released version 2.5 of its popular Magic Bullet Looks, a software full of presets and color correction tools that will help us get the desired look for our image.
This update brings new tools and user interface improvements. Thanks to the addition of the processing technology included in Universe (also from Red Giant), Magic Bullet Looks is now 20% faster.
One of the first new features you will notice is that if you hover the mouse over any “Look”, you will be able to preview the final result.
New tools include the “LUT Tool”, for importing .cube LUTs or using any of the 12 presets included, and the “S-Curve Tool”, which makes it easy to adjust contrast without losing detail in the most critical points.
The management of custom Looks has also been improved, allowing them to be easily shared with other editors or colorists. In the video (below) you will find the steps to export your own presets.
In addition, we have the “Strength Slider”, which controls the overall strength with which an effect is applied and has a slider to which keyframes can be easily added.
