Eizo incorporates Rec. 2020 in its monitors

Eizo has just announced the integration of Imagica’s 3D LUT table in two of its 4K monitors, which will now be able to work with images in the Rec color space. 2020.
The specific models belong to the ColorEdge series and are the CG318-4K and CG248-4K. Gradually we will see how the range of products compatible with Rec. 2020 is expanding, aimed at high-resolution content (4K) and with a higher gamut than Rec. 709.
In the case of these two monitors, the table has been included by means of a new Gamut preset, which can be accessed through the front button panel. In this way, it allows us to work with the Rec. 2020 space and make a simulation of how an image recorded in this way could look if we broadcast it in Rec. 2020. 709. To this end, when we are faced with a clip of this type, recorded in Rec. 2020 and impossible to show in its entirety in Rec. 709, we will see a gray shadow as a warning.
